Smokey green on a vermouth backdrop
moss, floral, herbal/greens, barnyard
Thin, delicate sweetness, smoked vegetal character with vermouth notes, light maltyness, has a green (and roasted) taste, reminds of cooked potatoe (peels), flowery notes in the aftertaste, always accompanied with a kind of even spread out bitterness in the higher tones, overall light tea, lots of buds
Oversteeped green tea
Thin and bright
Bit scratchy later on
3, invigorating

Revisiting the last bit of this sampleāthis time in a tiny (45ml) Gaiwan, after noticing how much bright teas can benefit from it in the last sessions. And yes, some surprises: a nice smoky note comes through clearly, enveloping the green/herbal taste nicely. There is a wormwood/vermouth taste that could be almost called savory, and a mouthwatering effect. This tea has a lot of buds, therefore also a solid qi feel, - enlivening. Iām using slightly lower temperature today to avoid bitterness, and it worksāthe tea feels smooth and quite enjoyable. Bitterness is lower and the overall feel is more smooth taste than the initial tasting.
