Smokey oldschool with a rough edge but good thickness and intensity
quite smokey, resin, wood, leather, similar to Pin Xiang “Bu Lang Shan Tuo” but cleaner
smokey (almost burnt notes), resin, some bitterness, light walnut astringency, woody notes, rather course with a cooling mouthfeel, but nice returning sweetness, and fullness on the palate, but also somewhat ‘thin’ feel, cleans up after 4. steep, more fruity acidity and bit smoother while still keeping some ‘rough’ character, intensity keeps accumulating
Reminds me of some Bulang teas. Despite its age still a bit rough edge.
Scratchy
Rising up to the head and accumulating over time. 4
Gets more and more enjoyable in the later steeps, when the roughness fades, leaving a smoother, fresh woody character with good aftertaste.
