Today I am revisiting this tea in a small (45ml) Gaiwan. Right away, I feel it is very centering and calming, with a very clear feel. The taste still feels quite young, with a green facet to it—herbal and mineral notes come through lightly, along with a hint of green, youthful astringency. There is a very slight bitterness, but it complements the overall body of the tea nicely.

I noticed that my whole body feels meditative and calm; it has a certain strength that I really like, even with this small amount.

To me, this is a great example of Gushu tea: many layers, good mouthfeel, depth, and clean energy.
