Today I’m testing the last small bit of the sample in a small Gaiwan. It’s very sweet, oily, and mellow—almost like lemonade—making it very easy to drink. Maybe, like in the last session, the long resting time in the bag has enhanced the taste, and the Gaiwan seems to bring out the brighter notes. Quite enjoyable on these early summer days.
It goes down smoothly, with light floral notes (though not as strong as before) and sweetness that stands out. There’s less of the herbal character I tasted earlier, - overall quite nice.
I find it a great tea for anyone not familiar with raw puerh yet.
