Used the Shiboridashi today, just to see how it compares—since yesterday’s Ethereal really surprised me in this vessel.

Quite similar here, at least that’s how it feels. The tea shows a nice, buttery character. Bitterness seemed more tamed. And the soft sweetness is nicely coming through. Overall it tastes and feels more comfy than last time.

Still a prominent herbal note, still that good silky mouthfeel, but it feels rounder.

I’d say the tea suits a vessel that doesn’t brew too aggressively—its character becomes more accessible that way. The scratchiness is still there, but the tea feels more open and easier to enjoy.
