This is my first tea from Quanjihao, which according to the vendor, is a family-run processing studio based in Xiangming apparently in the 13th generation of tea makers.

And yes, this session tastes like a good example of aged Yiwu tea. The taste is very approachable with a nicely soft aged profile. Clean and no off putting notes.

It’s not highly complex or outstanding in an single aspect, but it is genuinely comforting to drink. Bitterness is barely noticeable, only when pushed.

The aftertaste is fruity-sweet with a soft coating and lingers nicely after swallowing.

The energy is good, - slowly landing with a clear feeling to it, and a relaxing undercurrent. I do notice a slight scratchy feel in the throat, and I may be particularly sensitive to that.

Lovely Yiwu for enjoyment.
