Tasting Notes
Good mouthfeel with a woody undercurrent, fresh feel with and some fruity sourness which makes for a good complexity, raspberry, nice full/thick taste and sweetness, and a tad muddy. overall feels like a well balanced experience but more horizontal (on the taste level) - not so much vertically (depth), qi is pronounced (bit more on the rough side), barely astringent or bitter, salivating, great body - feels smooth and great to drink now, plus no off putting notes, clean storage

Another tea that’s starting to grow on me, mainly for its fruity-woody complexity and lightly salivating feel. Now, at 20 years of age, it offers a lovely depth with its accumulated darker tones.

While it doesn’t quite reach the profound depth of old tree tea, it has therefore solid sensory and aromatic traits, with a thick (due to sweetness) refreshing taste.

Combined with a pleasantly punchy—or even dizzying—energy, it’s a well-rounded package for an enjoyably aged daily drinker for the price.
