Full bodied bulang with gentle taste, and silky clean feel.
Bulang, stable, not too harsh, also not too strong aroma, leather, smoked, wood
Rich silvery silky mouthfeel, metallic, starts w some bitterness & little sourness, dry but later its more sweet, and also returning sweetness, first: numbs the tongue, not too strong aroma, light smokey notes, its more about the full texture and feel, quite smooth after 3/4 steeps, feels good
Starts with a soft and smooth feel. I’m using just a few grams of leaves today because the sample is quite small. Nevertheless, it is pungent with a nice sweetness, thick body and gentle bitterness. Clear, - not muddy at all.
Very nice tea!
Feels like it’s clearing the mist of the mind from the first cup. Warming feel crawling up the cheeks, a little tingling inside the head - minty cooling sweetness on the tongue. Very fitting for a cloudy winters day.
Today I used a Hongi for a little more bite.
