starts bright and clear with a woody tangy note, and zesty in the finish, leathery, mossy, this tea runs down smoothly, Malty, sweet, berries, and a pronounced sour tangy impression, which slowly wears off after a few steeps, then a bit more sweetness coming through, strong qi from the beginning, aged softness, nice smooth sweetness, on one hand bright fruity flavours on the other a heavy old school rusty leathery vibe, bitterness only if pushed, warming

With this tea, I prefer shorter steeps to maintain some softness and lightness while keeping bitterness to a minimum.
Unlike many other Shengs — especially younger ones, where I stay around or below 90degrees, I use water close to boiling for this one.
