Buttery, bitter and enlivening, with subtle sweetness
Honey, forest, malt, barnyard, thyme
Starts full bodied with honey, wood and herbal notes, and the impression that sweetness is lacking, 2nd: walnut bitterness coming through, a bit dry, but enlivening, malty creamyness remains in the background, buttery. 3rd: punguent and a bit softer, 4th and later: more sweetness coming through, while still there is punchyness with some puckering, and mineral, herbal taste, also bit malty, qi is very noticeable in the head
a honest kick in the ass - while also smooth when not brewed too aggressively.
Full, mostly bc of the bitter undertone, plenti ku
Watery and some dry scratchyness later on
Fruity but not pronounced
4, knocking in the head

Used the Shiboridashi today, just to see how it comparesâsince yesterdayâs Ethereal really surprised me in this vessel.
Quite similar here, at least thatâs how it feels. The tea shows a nice, buttery character. Bitterness seemed more tamed. Overall it just tastes more comfy than last time.
Still a prominent herbal note, still that good silky mouthfeel, but it feels rounder.
Iâd say the tea suits a vessel that doesnât brew too aggressivelyâits character becomes more accessible that way. The scratchiness is still there, but the tea feels more open and easier to enjoy.
