Fruity, sweet, Mushroomy, and a long reverbing aftertaste - just satisfying.
Mushroom, fruity, hunch of camphor freshness, moss, flowery sweet, ice tea
Mushroom, malty, fresh sweet fruit note, slight bitter notes in the beginning, more and more full oily sweetness, completed with a full mouthfeel, and a sense of fruity depth, most noticable is the brimming juicy sweet aftertaste, that often stays in my mind even the next day, i love that the sweetness is countered by some ‘body’ and shroomy notes, has this what i would call “malty sweet yiwu” tea taste. Thirst quenching.
A reminiscence of beauty: the tastyness adds to the inherent comfort of this tea
Quite aromatic, malt, fruity, fermentation, dry twigs, clean
Thick taste, texture good
Smooth, light scratchyness
Sweet Aftertaste sticks in my mind
Relaxing but not strong 2,5

The last remnant of this sample was hiding in the cupboard and was enjoyed together with my partner at the front porch. Its one of my favourite teas, flavourwise: there’s something I really love, though I’m never sure if it comes from the storage or the leaves themselves. It has a distinct barnyard note, clean and dry like an old cellar, with a pronounced nuttiness reminiscent of roasted buckwheat, barley, or tsampa. There’s also a hint of caramel sweetness underneath. At times, it carries the breezy scent you might catch walking past a donkey or horse stable—earthy and familiar. In the aftertaste, a soft floral note lingers — reminds of jasmine.
Overall, it just has this nice “Tea taste” which is hard to put in words. Energy is not outstanding but very nice to enjoy for sure!
