This tea grows on me more with each session. While it begins with a rough, slightly smoky profile, a few steeps in, it gains more and more salivating smoothness reminiscent of a well-aged tea. At the same time, it retains a crisp zestiness that strikes a delightful balance with the mellow sweetness It maintains a satisfying fullness even in the later steeps, accompanied by its classic “exotic wood” notes.
Good depth and complexity. Considering the leaf material may not have been the highest, the microbes did a good job here. :)
A nice example of aged tea.
